Taekwondo Classes
The ATA Martial Arts curriculum program is customized for adult men and women. Unlike a children’s program, adult programs focus on high-intensity fitness and real self-defense that applies in today’s world.
The Tiny Tiger Taekwondo program, for children ages 4-7, is designed to improve Listening Skills, develop Motor Skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions
This nationally acclaimed program in our Lombard and Aurora schools for children ages 8 and up, trains students in Songahm Taekwondo. This program is known for the Life Skill development and advance instruction in martial arts.

Bridget Welninski
Ms. Bridget Welninski has been training in the ATA since 2008 and is an instructor at the Lombard Academy. She also is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Karate.
Douglas Nakane – Sr. Master
Chief Instructor, Sr. Master Douglas Nakane has been in the American Taekwondo Association for since 1981. He had taught ATA Taekwondo at Northwestern University, Evanston campus, for over twenty years, Roycemore Academy, North Chicago Park District, Country Club Hills school district and Head instructor at Western Illinois University to name a few.
